We are parents, caregivers, teachers and other professionals who live and work with children and adults on the autism spectrum, as well as those who may face other special needs (ADHD, mental health issues, traumatic brain injury, Down Syndrome, learning and behavioral disabilities, etc.). The group was started and is facilitated by Stacie Stensrud, an Albert Lea special education teacher who also has a son on the autism spectrum. The steering committee consists of parents and caregivers of those with autism.
